Distance Coaching Program
A comprehensive fitness program or sport specific training program involves more than one training method. There is a sliding balance between cardiovascular conditioning, strength training, flexibility, body composition, sport specific training and several additional factors. Most athletes or fitness enthusiast question themselves if they are training optimally to meet their goals. A focused, well planned program will adjust intensity, duration, sets, reps, frequency and exercises on a periodic basis to meet specific goals. Infinity Personal Training and Fitness Distance Coaching Program will oversee and guide your training program to ensure you are on track to meet your personal goals.
The Distance Coaching Program is designed for multi-sport, endurance, outdoor athletes who would like to improve their performance and fitness. Team sport individuals (football, soccer, basketball etc.) or someone who is looking for more personalized and focused programming will also benefit from the Distance Coaching Program.
Cost
- Initial phone consultation is free. During the consultation we will discuss specific goals, training history, current physical limitations, training time availability, equipment availability, program set up, what you can expect from the program and any other concerns.
- Initial program set up for 1 month is $450. This includes goal setting, strength training and cardiovascular programming. For instance you may want to run a half marathon to get back in shape and lose some weight. To start your program you will need starting mileage, tempo training, distances, heart rate data and strength training to include sets, reps, exercises and days per week. The strength training should complement your running and that will need to be coordinated with the running routine.
- Continued monthly programming is $300 per month. This includes monitoring your training on a week to week basis. You will be required to e-mail your previous weeks training data and relevant information in to make adjustments to your training at least once a week and no more than three times per week. This data will be monitored and analyzed to keep up your progress. Each week you will also be given the opportunity to speak directly to your coach for about 30 minutes. Most often these conversations cover specific questions like exercise technique, changes in your training schedule and any variations that may occur.
